Revolution Eyeshadow!! (Budget)

The Redemption Palette Essential Mattes 2
This at the moment is the eyeshadow palette that I'm using, normally using it everyday. It isn't one of the most expensive brands ever (I don't have a lot of money to spend on eyeshadows etc. these days) but it is very good quality and does last a long time throughout the day. It is easy to apply and easy to blend in with other colours and defiantly all the colours work well together so you can blend whichever ones you like.

These are the colours I use the most. (They don't have names *sad face*) I normally use the lighter colours on the inner corner of my eyes and blend the darker colours in from the outer corner. (My favourite is defiantly the purple's on both pictures)

Purple, brown, darker purple
To be honest, I have always thought that to have a good eyeshadow you need to buy the expensive brands e.g. Naked but you really don't. This is one of my favourites that I have got and I love it. I will be using for a long time from now on.

Hope this helped if you was looking for a new eyeshadow palette.

How to stop being late all the time?!

It seems like being late is a problem for many people and in certain situations it's including me. I absolutely hate being late even if it is for one of the most simplest things ever e.g. shopping with a friend and I'm guessing many others hate it as well. One of the main reasons I think I am late most of the time is that I procrastinate (doing other things while your meant to be doing something more important e.g. using your phone while studying) and it is annoying but come on who doesn't do it like everyday (I may be doing it when writing this post shhhh).

I have found a few things that can help to stop people from being so late to everything.

1) Plan ahead. This might sound boring or too much effort however it would help a lot. Write down everything you have to do in that day and what times your going to do them. E.g wake up at 8 and go food shopping at 10. This helps you as you know you have to follow it so you do not run out of time and I think that if I followed something like that I would have to or the whole day would just fall apart. If you don't have a plan then you will have unrealistic estimates of time that your going to do everything in.

2) Bring something to do when waiting. Many people do not like getting to there destination early as there might not be anything to do in the mean time. I suggest you bring a magazine or a book which you could read while waiting or just go on social networking and listen to music. That is what does it for me. You could talk to a old friend etc. Just try and find something to do as it is compelling and will help you get there earlier then the expected time.

3) This might sound ridiculous however it makes sense. Never plan to get there on time. If you plan to get to the destination on time then you will always end up being late. This is because you think to yourself it will take only 15 minutes to get there but then you get in loads of red lights, forget your purse or you could take longer to do your make up. They're many things that can effect the time so plan to be everywhere 15 minutes earlier and that will help.

These points might help but lets face it, it will always be better to hit the snooze button on your alarm and stay in bed another hour so either get yo ass in gear or plan to do things a hour later as no one likes to meet with people that are late.

Hoped these 3 points helped you out or even a friend out.

Lush facemask and moisturiser - REVIEW

Lush is one of the most incredible cosmetic store around. I always buy bath bombs, face washes, shower gels etc. even though it can be on the pricey side, the products work so well and are such good quality. (No I'm not kidding). Plus a benefit of using lush is that NONE of the products are tested on animals in anyway which makes me very happy when I buy something.

These two products are ones that I have had for a while and that I will keep buying for god knows how long.

The first is the Imperialis. This is a moisturiser that I use every time I go to bed and sometimes before I put make up on as it can work as good base. This has lasted me for around 3-4 months already and I'm just over half way through (Guilty I did spill some when I dropped it whoops) as it only takes a little bit to go a long way. This moisturiser is good for dry, damaged skin and helps a lot with spots. My face has felt so much more clearer since I started using this. I think it works a lot better then a normal face wash. Also, it is good for travelling as Lush uses the small pots that do not leak so you can put them anywhere. There is not a overpowering smell although at first it can be very watery however after a minute or two it starts to sink into the skin and works perfectly.

The next product that is my favourite is the cupcake face mask from lush. This face mask is a chocolate smell (ahhh!!) that is just heavenly and refreshing to the skin. It works with Rhassoul mud and Cocoa powder to give a deep cleanse to the skin and moisturise. It also has a tint of mint in which is strong in the smell of this product and it helps tone the skin to stop breakouts. I absolutely am crazy about this product and use it every time I have a bath (normally keeping it on for half an hour rather then 10-15 minutes but who cares, am I right!) This product does not last as long as the moisturiser does however I use it less then the Imperialis does so it still last a couple of months.

Thank you for reading xx

Anchors away!

This year I went on a cruise for two weeks (Cunard) which went to Greece, Turkey and Croatia. It was one of the best holidays I have been on as we got to see many of the historic sites and the culture that each town and country has to show, got to try many new foods including snails (they're actually really delicious) and got to meet new people.
These are some photos from the holiday.

Firstly, we went from Heathrow to Venice which is where we got onto the boat. I wish we could have stayed here longer and explored but that was not possible as people were getting on and off and no one new was going off this day.

The next stop was to Zadar in Croatia. This was a beautiful place which had lots of old buildings and some ruins even though we didn't get to see many. We mostly went around shops, the beach and the town etc. This was because we booked a excursion however this was then cancelled as it was the last one of the day and the others was longer then they thought, meaning we got a shuttle bus out and went around ourselves for a while.

The next stop was Dubrovnik, Croatia. This is a incredible place and was one I wanted to visit mostly because I learnt about it in my Leisure and Tourism class before. Here we went on a excursion which was a tour of the Dubrovnik walls. It had amazing views and very cool places to fill up your water bottles. There were many shops here also and lots of cafes. I did buy a keychain from every place.

After was Rhodes which is the largest Greek island. It has lots of culture and a massive market with lots of stalls and restaurants to try new things and buy souvenirs or whatever you want. I ended up buying a dream catcher from here. We also went to the medieval city which was a site to see. During my time walking around I did see many boats which were offering boat tours etc. however we did not go on one.

We then went to Istanbul which is where we stayed over night so we actually got 2 days there. We did go on a excursion here which went from the Europe side to the Asia side. We went to many attractions e.g A mosque and the bridge that goes from one side to the other. I do recommend Istanbul if you are on a cruise ship. We also went to a hughstreet which is when I brought a keychain.

This is Marmaris in Turkey. We did not go on a excursion so we went around the the Grand Bazaar which is lots of shops. It was very busy there and I didn't buy anything. We also went around the town, along the beach and some more quiet smaller shops that were not as busy. Here there were cute motorbikes which I loved but I couldn't buy one. Also on the way walking there, there was a giant octopus which I thought was cool and lots of boats again as we was on a cruise so it was by the port.

Again, we did not have a excursion but in Iraklion, we got a taxi to the palace of Knossos which is the largest archaeological site on Crete. It was the Minoan palace. It didn't cost a lot to enter and it was a amazing site that I suggest you should go and see. It had amazing views and lots to see that hasn't been destroyed e.g the Throne room.
We didn't stay for long as the taxi service was from there and back which was ver useful and easy for tourists.

The last place we stopped off at was Athens in Greece. This was my favourite by far as I loved all the ruins and culture that was thrown together in the whole place. This was a excursion and we went right to the top. After this we drove about and saw the olympic stadium and many other sights that are worth seeing. For the last part of the tour we went to a popular hughstreet where you can buy anything, it has lots of souvenirs as it is where lots of tourists go. I got an Oreo milkshake and a detailed, professional painting of a building in Athens.

We did go past some other places and stop at other places however there was one that I did not go to and we was meant to stop at Mykonos but it was too windy to stop off at so we didn't. This was a amazing holiday and I recommend cruises for everyone who loves to travel.
